The HOPE Project: Sharing Compassion, One Person at a Time
At First Congregational Church, we believe in the power of hope—not just as an idea, but as action. The HOPE Project is our way of putting faith into motion, serving our unhoused neighbors with dignity, care, and tangible support.
Every month, we gather as a community to provide essential supplies, food, and kindness to those experiencing homelessness. But this is about more than just meeting physical needs. The HOPE Project’s mission is to bring hope—hope that circumstances can change, hope for stability, and hope for a brighter future. Because no one’s story is finished, and no one is forgotten.

What We Do
On the first Sunday of each month, volunteers distribute food bags, hygiene kits, and other essentials to those in need. But we don’t just hand out supplies—we listen, connect, and uplift. Whether it’s a meal, a prayer, or simply a moment of human connection, we believe these small acts can make a big difference.
📅 Upcoming Distribution Dates:
📍 First Sunday of Every Month
March 2 | April 6 | May 4
June 1 | July 6 | August 3
September 7 | October 5 | November 2
